Gerald Baldivia, FICD
Prior to Angeon Advisors, Gerald was Executive Director at ATR Asset Management (ATRAM), where he was involved in portfolio analytics, risk management, marketing, and sales. Earlier, Gerald worked on: project finance and private equity (covering investments in the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam) at the International Finance Corp. (the private-sector arm of the World Bank Group); equity analysis at Société Générale and at ATR KimEng / Peregrine Securities; trade and political risk insurance at AIG in New York; and credit at Far East Bank & Trust Co. He has been a speaker and panelist at private equity, liquid equities, and project finance conferences in the Philippines and abroad. Gerald earned an MBA at Columbia University and a BS (cum laude) in Business Administration at the University of the Philippines. He is a board member and the president at seven ATRAM mutual funds (having combined AUM of USD 51 million) and a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Nathan Chua, CFA

Nathan is a consultant for alternatives manager Argo Capital Management (Asia) Ltd., where he was previously an Executive Director. Earlier in his career, he was the Managing Director at Fiducia Asset Management Pte. Ltd., served as Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management for ABN AMRO Bank, and worked in fixed income sales, fixed income trading, and banking at Merrill Lynch in Singapore, Citibank in Manila, Chase Manhattan in New York, and Far East Bank and Trust Co. in Manila. Nathan earned his MBA from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business and his undergraduate degree in Business / Managerial Economics from the Ateneo de Manila University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and he completed the Harvard Kennedy School’s Executive Certificate Program in Financial Inclusion.
SP Sumulong, RFC, CWM
A co-founder of Angeon Advisors, SP is a member of the Philippine Bar and has practiced law for over 36 years, with experience in corporate law, franchise, taxation, project finance, and litigation. He is concurrently a director at GET Philippines, Inc., UniversalAlliance Dining Concepts, Inc., Alchemco Philippines, Inc., and UCC Coffee Academy Philippines, Inc. SP is the Chief Legal Counsel for Mugen Group. Previously, he worked in Hong Kong for over 12 years for a company providing corporate and trust services. SP was general counsel for a number of Philippine publicly listed companies. He is a Registered Financial Consultant and a Chartered Wealth Manager. SP received his Bachelor of Laws degree from the Ateneo de Manila University and his BS in Business Management from the De la Salle University.
Norvin Villa, CPA
Norvin has had nearly 20 years’ experience in accounting and financial and business analysis. Before joining Angeon Advisors, he was a Senior Portfolio Operations Manager at Infinit Outsourcing, Inc., a firm supporting hedge fund managers in the developed markets. Prior to this, Norvin was an Accountant with J.P. Morgan Securities Philippines, Inc. and a Financial Analyst at San Miguel Corp. He received his MBA from the University of the Philippines and his BS in Accountancy from the Rizal Technological University. Norvin is a Certified Public Accountant, and passed the Chartered Financial Analyst Level 1 Examination.
Sandy Gilles, CFA

Sandy earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1997. In the 1990s, he was an Equity Analyst at James Capel Philippines, Anscor Hagedorn, and Citibank Securities. From 1999 to 2008, Sandy taught finance at the De La Salle University’s Graduate School of Business and at the University of Asia and the Pacific’s (UA&P’s) Entrepreneurship program. From 2009 onward, he lectured on “Stock Markets for Newbies” for First Metro Securities Brokerage Corp. and the Philippine Stock Exchange. Sandy often shared his views on ABS-CBN Channel 2’s "Market Edge" and on TV 5’s “One News” programs. He holds a BA (cum laude) in Communication from the University of the Philippines, and a Master’s in Applied Business Economics from UA&P. In 2021, Sandy moved to Australia to pursue a Master's in Financial Planning, which would afterwards make him eligible to become a Registered Financial Adviser.
Kip was Managing Partner at Portland Private Equity, a successful fund manager focused on growth opportunities in the Caribbean Basin. Previously, he had spent 19 years with the International Finance Corporation (IFC, part of the World Bank Group). Kip was stationed in Manila as IFC’s Country Manager for the Philippines in 1991-96. Earlier, he served as Treasurer and as Senior Project Manager at the National Energy Corp. of Trinidad & Tobago (T&T) and as the General Manager at T&T Bagasse Products Ltd. Kip earned an MBA at Columbia University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering at the University of the West Indies.
